David E. Ernsberger

David E. Ernsberger, 62, of Litchfield, IL, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at his home in Litchfield, IL.  

David was born June 20, 1963, in Long Beach, CA, a son of Carl and Barbara (England) Ernsberger. David graduated from RayTown South High School with the class of 1982. 

David was a truck driver over the road for 32 years at several different trucking companies. He is a member of S. Baptist Church. He loved his grandchildren and his dog Zeus. He enjoyed many things, like the Broncos, Nascar, country music, and watching TV, especially WWII shows.

David was preceded in death by his father, Carl Ernsberger.  

There will be no services held at this time.

David is survived by his mother, Barbara Ernsberger of Verona, MO, companion of 22 years, Janice Rowland of Litchfield, IL, daughter, Brianne Gonzalez, son, Christopher Ernsberger, son, David Ernsberger, son, Nicholas Ernsberger, daughter, Cassandra Hardgrove, daughter, Alayna Ernsberger, step-son, Chris Bruntjen, step-daughter, Tish (Cavin) Schmedeke, several grandchildren, two great grandchildren, sister, Susan (Ramiro) Garcia of Aurora, MO as well as several nieces and nephews.
